Registered Service Manager – Specialist Rehabilitation & Complex Care

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum DOE
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

We're recruiting for a Registered Service Manager to lead a specialist rehabilitation service supporting adults with acquired brain injuries and complex needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and operational management of the specialist rehabilitation service.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a positive and accountable culture.
- Drive continuous quality improvement and implement service improvement plans.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory requirements.
- Manage recruitment, inductions, supervisions, appraisals, and staff development.
- Oversee budgets, occupancy, and overall service performance.
- Champion person-centred rehabilitation, promoting independence and positive outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Monitor governance, audits, medication management, and quality assurance processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and lead sustainable change across the service.
Experience & Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Service Manager ready for their next step.
- Previous experience leading rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, complex care, learning disability, mental health, or similar specialist services.
- A proven track record of improving service performance, quality, compliance, or culture.
- Experience leading successful turnaround projects within care services.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection standards.
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and operational performance.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable.
