Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a clean and safe environment for clients and staff alike. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
This would be a split shift: two sites need to be completed in the morning, and one site in the afternoon. A valid driving license is required to commute to the sites. We will provide a car and petrol allowance.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial facilities
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Driving licence required
- Clean DBS needed
