Summary
We are seeking a strong, passionate CDP to join our team at The Lamp Room. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes that align with our commitment to freshness and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals using fresh, local ingredients.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create seasonal menus.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent service during food service hours.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
