We are looking for a confident, professional and hands-on Event Supervisor to support the delivery of corporate events, weddings and private celebrations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent guest service and ensuring events run smoothly from set-up through to close down.
As Event Supervisor, you will support the Event Manager with the running of events, oversee front of house event staff, maintain high service standards and ensure guests receive a polished, welcoming and memorable experience.
*Previous experience as event supervisor is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Event Manager with the smooth delivery of corporate events, weddings and private functions.
- Lead and motivate the front of house event team during service.
- Brief team members before events, ensuring everyone understands their roles and service standards.
- Welcome guests professionally and assist with guest needs throughout the event.
- Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring it is delivered efficiently, courteously and to a high standard.
- Assist with event set-up, including tables, chairs, linen, place settings, catering stations and bar areas.
- Check event spaces before guest arrival to ensure presentation standards are met.
- Monitor service flow, guest experience and team performance throughout the event.
- Handle guest requests, queries or minor issues in a calm and professional manner.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards are followed.
- Support bar service where required.
- Oversee clearing, waste management and event close-down.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, event manager and wider operations team.
- Help ensure each event is delivered on time, on brand and to the client’s expectations.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, events
- Experience supervising or leading a small team is desirable.
- Strong front of house service skills and a professional appearance.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Confident working in a fast-paced event environment.
- Good attention to detail and high presentation standards.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe working practices.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and key event dates.
- Bar experience is desirable.
- Wedding or corporate event experience.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
Pay: From £13.10 per hour
