Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations with precision
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain accurate patient records, update demographic information, and process documentation efficiently
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures, including insurance verification and payment processing
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely flow of patient information and appointments
- Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies
Qualifications
- Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare setting or similar administrative environment
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Demonstrated proficiency in office software applications such as MS Office Suite or equivalent tools
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus
