Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our Preparation Centre Site in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support and your career development. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Hours: 15.00 - 00.30 - Mon - Thurs 15.00 - 19.00 Friday.
Duties and responsibilities:
- The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification
- Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
- Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
- Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
- Team player
- VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
- Dealers experience preferable but not essential
Essential:
- Your own set of Tools
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence - Any job offer that requires driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check, and applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet our insurance requirements and therefore may not be eligible for employment.
