Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team 2/3 days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective running of the pharmacy.
Duties
- accurately dispense prescribed medications.
- Ensure legal compliance, checking prescriptions for errors or potential interactions.
- Educate patients about their medications, including proper administration techniques and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Offer professional advice on minor health issues
- Deliver services like emergency contraception, Pharmacy first, weight management, travel vaccinations.
- Supervise pharmacy staff.
Experience
- GPHC registered pharmacist.
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
