We have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast and Lunch Chef to join our friendly kitchen team at Mama Doreen's Emporium.
Working closely with our senior chefs and bakery team you will provide the very best dishes for our Emporium, including Afternoon Tea.
This role will require someone with high attention to detail and passion for well presented food.
We pride ourselves on delivering great food and experiences, offering not just our well known Afternoon Tea's but also offering guests a great Brunch and Lunch menu too.
This can be a full time or part time position working a maximum of 40 hours per week mainly during the day, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare brunch, lunches and Afternoon Tea in a timely manner
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. gluten free, dairy free etc.)
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
