About the role:
This is a varied and rewarding hybrid role at the heart of Hadet Healthcare's operations. As Business Relations Manager, you will be the key link between our external partners — commissioners, local authorities, social work teams, and referral agencies — and our internal delivery teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, ICBs, and referral partners.
· Acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and supporting the assessment and onboarding process.
· Completing pre-admission care assessments and writing initial person-centred care plans.
· Supporting the preparation and submission of tenders, bids, and contract proposals.
· Working with the Directors to source suitable properties for new supported living services.
· Liaising with the Registered Manager and Care Coordinators to ensure smooth referral conversion and service set-up.
· Representing Hadet Healthcare at commissioner meetings, provider forums, and stakeholder events.
· Contributing to marketing activity and raising the profile of Hadet Healthcare with commissioners and the wider community.
We are looking for a confident, credible, and caring professional who brings:
· A minimum of 2 years' experience in a business relations, business development, commissioning, or care management role within health and social care.
· Solid knowledge of adult social care commissioning, supported living frameworks, and relevant legislation (Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, CQC regulations).
· Proven experience of completing care assessments and writing person-centred care plans.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build trust with commissioners, families, and internal teams alike.
· Experience of contributing to bids, tenders, or contract proposals.
· A self-motivated, organised approach with the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
· Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential — community-based role).
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
· NVQ Level 5 / Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
· Existing commissioner or local authority relationships in the areas we operate.
· Experience of sourcing supported living properties or working with housing providers.
· Knowledge of personal budgets, CHC funding, and direct payments.
WHAT WE OFFER
· Competitive salary of £37,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
· Car allowance of £280 – £350 per month.
· Performance-related bonus on targets and contract wins — rewarding your success directly.
· Hybrid and community-based working — flexibility to manage your own diary.
· A supportive, close-knit team with direct access to senior leadership.
· Opportunity to shape the growth and direction of a values-led care organisation.
· Enhanced DBS funded by Hadet Healthcare
If you are passionate about making a difference and have the experience and skills we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
