We are looking for experienced Pipe Fitters to join a major industrial Oil, Gas & Energy project in Royston, UK.
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire, UK
Responsibilities
- Installation, assembly and maintenance of industrial piping systems
- Pipe installation according to technical drawings and project specifications
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling pipes and piping components
- Installation of valves, flanges, pipe supports and other piping equipment
- Working with carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and piping layouts
- Carrying out pipework modifications, repairs and adjustments
- Working closely with welders, mechanical fitters and other site personnel
- Ensuring all work meets site safety and quality requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter / Industrial Pipe Fitter
- Experience on industrial, power generation, oil&gas, energy, refinery or similar projects
- Ability to read isometric drawings and technical documentation
- Good knowledge of industrial piping installation and fitting
- Experience with valves, flanges, pipe supports and associated components
- Relevant trade qualifications or certificates are an advantage
- Valid UK right to work
- Good understanding of UK site health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
