An established and highly respected electronic design and manufacturing firm is looking to appoint a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the development of innovative, real-world products across Medical Devices, Automation/Industrial and Renewable Energy products.
This is a senior, hands-on engineering role in a fast-paced design services environment where youll take concepts from early-stage feasibility through to full production.

Youll be responsible for the design and delivery of advanced electronic systems across a broad range of technically challenging projects.
You will:
Lead digital and analogue electronic system design
Deliver schematic capture, PCB design and simulation
Design microcontroller-based systems
Support prototype build, verification and transfer to manufacture
Engage directly with customers on technical solutions
Produce high-quality, client-ready documentation
15+ years experience developing electronic systems
Strong digital and analogue design capability
PCB design and schematic capture experience
Microcontroller system design expertise
Strong problem-solving mindset
Confident customer-facing communication skills
Desirable experience includes:
High-speed digital and power supply design
RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet
Wireless / RF (WiFi, BLE, RFID)
FPGA / CPLD / DSP design
EMC testing and failure analysis
Regulated environments
High-profile, technically varied projects
