Our client is actively looking to recruit a Night Shift HGV Technician to join their dedicated team at Pontefract. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in a positive working environment that values safety, professional development, and employee wellbeing.

Duties as a HGV Technician will include:
- Undertake comprehensive repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles
- Complete routine inspections, including tyre rotations and oil changes
- Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic tools and methods
- Maintain accurate documentation of repair and service work
- Manage inventory and ensure workshop cleanliness and safety standards
- Provide emergency roadside repairs as required
- Complete warranty claims and related administrative tasks
- Support and mentor junior team members with technical guidance
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
- Proven experience working in heavy vehicle repairs and diagnostics
- Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence suitable for HGV vehicles
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently
