Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced, reliable, and motivated Fire Door Installers/Carpenters to join our expanding team. If you take pride in your workmanship and understand the importance of fire safety compliance, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and carry out remedial works on fire doors in accordance with current fire safety regulations and British Standards.
- Conduct fire door inspections and identify non-compliance issues.
- Complete first and second fix carpentry where required.
- Install, repair, and replace locks, ironmongery, and associated door hardware.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Complete site paperwork, inspection reports, and certification accurately.
- Maintain a professional attitude when working on occupied residential and commercial sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing and repairing fire doors.
- Carpentry experience (essential).
- Locksmith or door hardware experience (advantageous).
- Good knowledge of current fire door regulations and British Standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant fire door qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
- Right to work in the UK.

Experience:
- Fire Door Installation: 2 years (preferred)
- Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
