Peco Electrics is on the lookout for a dedicated Trade Counter/Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Perth branch. This temporary position may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. You will play a vital role in serving both the general public and our valued account holders, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers at the trade counter and assist account holders with their requests.
- Manage stock ordering and prepare quotes for clients.
- Pick orders accurately and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Source special order items and facilitate telesales as needed.
- Book in deliveries, put stock away, and engage in heavy lifting tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a valid driving licence.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well within a team or independently.
- Is proactive in branch housekeeping, ensuring a tidy and organised workspace.
- Has previous experience in a trade counter or warehouse environment (preferred but not essential).
- Is capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
