We are currently expanding and seeking experienced CQC inspectors to join our growing Task Force team – delivering high-quality inspection, assurance, and improvement support to health and social care providers across the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to use your regulatory expertise in a consultancy capacity, helping providers achieve and maintain compliance while driving meaningful quality improvement.
✅ What You’ll Deliver
Inspection & Assurance

Lead mock CQC inspections and assurance reviews across adult social care and health services

Assess compliance against CQC frameworks, legislation, and best practice

Produce detailed inspection reports and evidence-based improvement plans
Improvement Support
-
Provide expert consultancy and practical guidance to providers

Support services through post-inspection recovery, enforcement, and quality improvement programmes

Monitor progress and provide ongoing compliance support
Education & Sector Engagement

Design and deliver webinars, workshops, and training sessions

Represent the organisation at partnership meetings, provider forums, and sector events
Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong professional relationships with providers, commissioners, and regulators

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care
Requirements
Essential
-
Current or former CQC Inspector with demonstrable inspection experience
-
Significant experience in adult social care, regulation, or compliance
-
Expert knowledge of CQC regulations, assessment frameworks, and legislation (Care Act 2014, MCA, DoLS, H&S, Safeguarding, GDPR)

Experience producing detailed inspection reports and improvement plans

Ability to present findings to senior leaders and stakeholders

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (including overnight stays)
Desirable

Experience supporting providers through enforcement or recovery programmes

Knowledge of governance frameworks and quality improvement methodologies
