About Us
SkyTop Construction & Surveying Ltd is a growing South Coast construction company specialising in property maintenance, refurbishment, fire safety works, roofing, surveying, and building repairs. We work with property managers, housing providers, landlords, commercial clients, and residential customers across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Trader with proven fire door installation experience to join our team.
The Role
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of maintenance and refurbishment works, with a particular focus on fire door installation, repairs, and compliance works.
Typical duties will include:
- Installation of FD30 and FD60 fire doors
- Fire door maintenance and remedial works
- Fire stopping and associated compliance works
- General carpentry including doors, skirting, kitchens, and repairs
- Basic plumbing and maintenance works
- General building repairs and refurbishment
- Working within occupied residential and commercial properties
- Completing works to a high standard whilst maintaining site safety and compliance
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience fitting and maintaining fire doors
- Strong carpentry background
- Experience working as a multi-trader
- Good understanding of fire door regulations and compliance requirements (not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Qualifications
- FIRAS, BM TRADA or equivalent fire door training
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
- PASMA
- IPAF
- Asbestos Awareness
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
