Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring efficient team management and high service standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all departments
- Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production schedules and menu execution
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist in training new staff members in service protocols, food safety practices, and company policies
- Monitor financial performance, optimise resource utilisation, and manage labour costs effectively
- Organise staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while maintaining a balanced workload for team members
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards in the hospitality industry
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Experience in supervising food production processes and ensuring quality control
- Knowledge of hospitality operations including serving standards, barista skills, and hotel experience is advantageous
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers confidently
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer complaints diplomatically while maintaining professionalism
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences through attentive service and high-quality cuisine
Pay: £24,420.00-£47,199.05 per year
