Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Holiday Covering Cleaner to join our team and ensure our facilities remain spotless and welcoming during holiday periods. As a Holiday Covering Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial spaces, ensuring they are hygienic and presentable for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help uphold the reputation of our organization during busy holiday seasons.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to deliver effective results while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are fully stocked at all times.
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency across different sites.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities to the relevant management team promptly.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness standards in all assigned areas throughout the shift.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed during cleaning tasks to create a safe environment for everyone.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and mops is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to cover shifts during holiday periods on short notice is advantageous.
