We are looking for 2 Machine Operators to join our friendly production team and help us continue making a difference.
The Job
You will ensure that products are manufactured in line with Company Quality and Hygiene standards as well as Customer Specifications and Good Manufacturing Practice.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Monitor and Operate Equipment: Operate process and filling equipment, ensuring accurate recording of production information in a timely manner. Adhere to all quality, hygiene standards, and company procedures.
- Equipment Inspection and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections of equipment. Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues, reporting faults and problems promptly to your Manager or the Engineering Department.
- Follow SOPs and Safety Protocols: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyse data from process operations to identify areas for improvement and optimise production efficiency.
- Team Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and coordinate workflow.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform regular maintenance tasks on equipment. Carry out cleaning duties related to equipment, plant, and building fabric as required.
- Energy Efficiency: Comply with the Energy Code of Practice and contribute to other energy efficiency initiatives.
- Documentation: Document all operational activities, including equipment readings, process parameters, and maintenance logs to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties as requested by your supervisor or manager to meet the changing needs of the organisation and the business.

Packers work on our shift rotation working a 38 hour week which is as follows:
- Week 1 - 06:00 - 14:00 Monday - Thursday and 06:00 - 12:00 Friday.
- Week 2 - 14:00 - 22:00 Monday - Thursday and 12:00 - 18:00 Friday.
