Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to meet quality standards
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and basic cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service
- Relevant culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
