Garden Machinery Technician / Mechanic
We are looking for an experienced Garden Machinery Technician / Mechanic to join our busy and friendly workshop on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of garden machinery, including lawn mowers, ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and other two-stroke and four-stroke equipment.
Service and repair a wide range of garden machinery.
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
Prepare new machinery for customer collection.
Maintain accurate service records using our computer system (full training provided).
Liaise with customers regarding repairs, servicing requirements and estimates.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of customer service.
Previous experience servicing and repairing garden machinery.
Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach to workload and changing priorities.
Basic computer skills (training will be provided).
Full Clean Driving Licence
