Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Support catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in catering or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Bartending skills are a plus, with the ability to craft beverages as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player who can also work independently when necessary.
