Ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? We've got an exciting position for a Sous Chef to be a crucial member in a busy and top rated restaurant based in Maldon, Essex. Featuring day time hours with just a few evenings a month, the right Sous Chef will be working along side our head chef to create breakfast and lunch time dishes.

We're seeking a candidate who thrives under pressure, consistently delivering exceptional dishes while upholding the highest service and cleanliness standards. Collaborating closely with the Head Chef, you'll contribute to the seamless operation of the kitchen, lending your creative touch to evening menus and specials, and even stepping into leadership in their absence.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time role requiring one weekend day per week
- Potential for role growth as the business evolves
- Tips shared between the whole team adding an average of £2-£3 per hour (4-6k per year)
- Paid lunch breaks with a complimentary meal and drinks
- Training and courses provided where necessary
Job requirements:
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Weekend availability required
- Availability for 10-hour and 8-hour shifts - 5 days a week
- A great level of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to manage a team of people
