Wolverhampton Depot - WV10 6PZ
We have a DAY position available – 5 out of 7 shifts a week (set weekly pattern)
Full time day shifts.
The roles are all permanent. There may be an occasional night out requirement
Archbold is a family-owned business over 100 years’ old.
We have a solid driver base with many long serving drivers, but we currently have Class 1 driving opportunities to work from our Wolverhampton depot.
We generally carry light, clean product.
Interaction with the traffic team is key and we pride ourselves on good driver/traffic relations.
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Class 1 Licence (CAT C+E) with less than 6 points – No DR, DD or IN codes
- Drivers Licence (photo card)
- Digital Tachograph card
- Driver Qualification card (CPC)
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
You will need to ensure all documentation is accurately completed, adhere to safe working practices, and have a flexible approach to your work pattern as dictated by customer/operational requirements as well as complying with all legislation in line with Driver Hours and Working Time Directive.
Weekly salary ranging from £744 (for 48 hours working Monday to Friday) to £873 (for 48 hours working Wednesday to Sunday)
Basic hours are 48 per week. There is overtime available on a regular basis.
Annual equivalent is £38,688-£45,396
Monday to Friday is £14.50 per hour
Saturday shifts paid at £19.15ph, Sunday paid at £23.30ph
Overtime over 48 hrs is paid at £17.00ph
The remuneration includes a weekly bonus of £48 which is based on 4 requirements, walk round checks completed, communication with the Depot, full attendance, and driving in a safe manner.
