A family run company who have a team of over 900 Brand ambassadors across the country working as demonstrators within Costco stores for over 30 years and have won multiple awards for outstanding service. We are a growing company and now looking to fulfil events across the country.
Job overview
Looking for flexibility and a great team to work with? Working for WDS in the Gateshead Costco store on behalf of our experiential sampling team, you will represent well-known brand names in various stores. This is a zero hour contract which can suit with your life style needs. On average 7-8 hours to be worked between 09:30 and 5.30 between Thursday to Sunday.
You will need to sit a class room food safety course which we offer free of charge in our own training academy.
As our Brand Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for engaging with customers and creating a buzz around in store sampling, demonstrating products and engaging with customers to drive sales of products in store.
As a successful Brand Ambassador/Sampler, you will:
- Demonstrate experience of experiential/promotional campaigns
- Actively engage with customers, persuading them to try new products
- Be able to think on your feet and solution focused in any situation or issue that arises
- Engage with customers and answer questions about the product whilst show casing the brand image and gain customer loyalty Delivery.
- Comfortable with the physical elements of setting up an activation space which may include small marquees, flags, banners, taking responsibility for kit.
You will also be asked to cook basic food and be able to competently use cooking equipment.
What we can offer:
- £14.78 per hour
- flexible days to suit.
Detail:
Although this is a zero hour contract you will potentially be offered 650 hours per annum as a minimum. This is on average 14 hours per week (2 days) however during busy periods in the year, this could be 28 hours (4 days per week).
You will need to be near to the Costco store.
