7.5 tonne Driver
Our client, a well-established logistics operation based in Preston, is currently seeking experienced 7.5 tonne drivers to support their busy depot with collections and deliveries. This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, so applicants must be comfortable with physical work.
Location: Preston PR2
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday (overtime available on weekends)
- 9am - 5:45pm
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rates:
Standard - £16.05
Overtime (After 40 hours) - £23.43
The Role:
- Completing scheduled collections and deliveries (aprox.17 drops - 200 parcels)
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Completing all relevant paperwork and adhering to transport regulations
- Representing the client in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous 7.5 tonne driver experience preferred
- Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
