Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic hard working person to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing handling equipment for sale and despatch, Carrying out workshop repairs on customers handling equipment and supporting our mobile service engineers out in the field.
Responsibilities
- Carry out pre delivery assembly and inspection of new equipment and prepare for delivery.
- Repair and service customers equipment in a workshop environment.
- Support our field service engineers out on site.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed, though our technician portal.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role in a technical environment preferred but not essential.
- An understanding of mechanical, electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel to client locations.
