We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a refrigerated courier company based in Mitcham CR4, London, we prefer candidates from the local area. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, with working hours starting around 4 AM. Shifts range from 6 to 10 hours (flexibility is mandatory), depending on workload, and deliveries are primarily made to commercial establishments such as restaurants, delis, and cafés. The total weekly working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, with some weeks exceeding 40 hours and others being less. Working hours will be balanced over time, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Saturday.
The salary is based on 40hours per week.
Duties:
- Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting when required
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to all road safety regulations
Requirements:
- Ability to use a smart phone
- Proven experience as van driver for minimum 3 years in London
