We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista/Bar Staff to join our vibrant Clubhouse Team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, food service, and creating a memorable experience for customers. Prior experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and beverages with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick and friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle food safety protocols and food handling procedures according to health standards
- Assist with food preparation, including basic food handling tasks as needed
- Manage cash register operations, including cashiering and retail math calculations
- Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items, and enhance their overall experience
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation standards and safety procedures
Experience
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience in food handling, serving, or retail math is beneficial
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and quality standards
