We are looking for a reliable and energetic Cook to join our team at a fast-paced sports bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, the ability to work under pressure, and a team-oriented attitude. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring a great experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, wings, fries, and other bar-style foods
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage food prep, portioning, and storage efficiently
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to management
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred (sports bar or fast-paced kitchen experience is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
