About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious 7.5t Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a 7.5t vehicle, contracted to 41.25 hours per week. Your standard shift pattern will be 8 - 5 Monday to Friday, with Saturdays worked on a rota basis. You will be responsible for delivering gas cylinders safely to commercial and residential customers across the local region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a van driver looking to upskill, as we will fully fund your ADR (Hazardous Goods) training package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5t delivery vehicle on multi-drop local routes.
- Load, secure, and unload heavy gas cylinders using safe manual handling techniques.
- Conduct daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintain accurate logs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every drop-off point.
- Adhere strictly to transport safety regulations and hazardous goods protocols.
Requirements:
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence cat C1 or C
- Drivers Qualification Card
- Availability: Must be fully available to work scheduled Saturdays on a rota basis, and work additional hours during the week when required.
- ADR Qualification: An ADR licence (Class 2 - Gases) is an advantage, but not essential as full training and funding will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: The role involves heavy lifting and moving cylinders daily.
