Excell Supply is recruiting enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistants to work in specialist provisions and mainstream schools across Bromborough. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development through consistent support.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and wellbeing.
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques where required.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet pupils' individual needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs is desirable.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to remain resilient and adaptable in a challenging but rewarding environment.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed both academically and personally.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
