We are currently extending our family further, with an opportunity available for a store personnel position, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday on dayshift, shift times to be confirmed and some flexibility can be offered for the right candidate.
What does a Store Person do at Grahams Bakery?
Store Persons manage the storage and safekeeping of goods in our store. They receive goods from suppliers, check the goods for damage and store it appropriately. They track the movement of goods and are responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods. They are also responsible for liaising with the production manager for ordering goods to maintain sufficient levels of stock. Training can be provided.
Store Person Skills Required:
· Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods
· Ability to work methodically and quickly
· Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
· Liaising with suppliers and production team about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
· Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
· Updating inventory management systems regularly
· Picking and delivering goods by using a forklift
· Organising and delivering goods from the store to the production department that requires it
Criteria:
- Current forklift truck licence or willing to obtain it
- Can work both independently and within a small team
