Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial environments, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all designated areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow scheduled cleaning routines and adapt to additional tasks as required by the management team.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of work.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
