Trainee Scaffolders - AstraZeneca, Macclesfield
Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Trainee Scaffolders to join the team at AstraZeneca, Macclesfield for site works.
This role will involve working 38 hour weeks Monday - Friday, with an immediate start available.
The position is paid under CIJC agreements (£13.58 ph + £2.75ph bonus)

Key Deliverables:
- Have an understanding of company safety policy and ensure that it is complied with
- Use the correct tools, plant and equipment and keep them in good condition. Ensure they are safe before use
- Report to supervision any defects in plant and equipment, protective clothing or safety equipment
- Work in a safe manner at all times, avoid taking unnecessary risks
- Keep working areas and welfare facilities in a clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
- Do not attempt to carry out any task for which they are not trained
- Not indulge in any horseplay or interfere with or misuse any plant, equipment or anything provided in the interest of health, safety or welfare
- Report all accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor or site manager
- To behave in a professional manner on site, and when representing Altrad off site Participate in erecting and dismantling scaffold as requested by the chargehand in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate in erecting and dismantling System Scaffold.
- Actively participate in pre-job risk assessments
- Keep working areas in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- Complete all the appropriate paperwork associated with the task as requested by Altrad and the client
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- Have a valid CISRS Card
- Have Scaffolding experience
