The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Customer Service Administrator to join our busy and dynamic team. Essentially this is a multi-purpose role which includes administration, liaising with customers to take orders and organising dispatch of goods. The candidate will join an ambitious company that offers progression opportunities and a friendly working environment. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling a range of enquiries and ensuring a high standard of service is consistently delivered.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside and report to the Accounts Manager
- Answer phone calls and sales queries, directing where necessary
- Managing customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls
- Undertake essential administrative tasks for the Sales team including onboarding new customers, completing and sending relevant documents
- Regularly update databases on CRM and tracking systems
- Arrange transport for deliveries and collections and organise the relevant paperwork
- Ensure Progases own transport is being utilised efficiently by contacting nearby customers for orders (milk round)
- Regularly follow up and liaise with current customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product or service received
- Deal with customer complaints where necessary and resolve issues if appropriate
- Front of house responsibilities dealing with walk in customers
Skills Required
- Previous experience in administration or customer service role preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Ambition and desire to succeed
- Proactive and ability to problem-solve

Pay: £24,420.00-£26,500.00 per year
