Our client base stretches from Lincolnshire all the way up to Northumberland, ensuring a varied workload where two days are rarely the same.
With the gardening season fast approaching we are looking for an experienced individual who shares our commitment to high standards and takes pride in the work they produce. The role involves working under a senior member of staff as part of a team that maintains private gardens, housing developments and commercial properties throughout the growing season on a fortnightly rota basis. This means you will maintain the same landscapes throughout the year, allowing you to observe their progression and be ultimately responsible for their overall look. You will be required to already have held a similar role along with having experience using various petrol powered garden machinery.
Our base of operations is in Idle, Bradford. This is a secure premises where you will meet in a morning to load up any tools your team needs for the day. There are many transport links nearby with the closest train station being Apperley Bridge. A good level of fitness is required as this is a physical job where you will be working in all weathers and at varying heights. Full uniform is provided including boots and waterproof clothing.
Driving licence preferred but not essential.
Spraying licence preferred but not essential.
Working hours will be Tues-Sat 07:00-16:00.
Role includes 28 days paid holiday per year and enrolment onto the government NEST pension scheme.
