Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Oversee all food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring consistency and quality across menus.
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Manage food safety standards, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations and proper storage procedures.
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and skill enhancement within the team.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of resources to meet service demands without compromising quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive food production expertise with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Solid kitchen experience complemented by comprehensive culinary knowledge.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with familiarity with serving procedures in hospitality settings.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
