SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.
Due to recent success of several long-term projects, we are recruiting for several CNC Machining Operators to machine and fine grind components to single micron tolerances. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and making a real impact.
Responsibilities will include:
- Work on a variety of projects on CNC lathes
- Work to tight tolerances and understand drawings in order to deliver the best projects to clients
- Loading and running machines
- Setting tools – deburring tools, reamers, grinding wheels
- Record measurements on computer using SPC control and monitoring OEE
- Actively maintain health and safety standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Familiarity with milling, grinding, and other machining processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with a wide range of measuring equipment.
- Capable of understanding and working to process and manufacturing instructions and specifications and to quality standards;
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels
Work pattern:
Full time 37.5-hour week – Monday to Friday
Rotating shift pattern: 06:00-14:00 /14:00 to 22:00/ 22:00 to 06:00
