Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and presentation standards in line with company policies
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Assist with training staff on service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer engagement
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding food production schedules and special dietary requirements
- Monitor daily operations to uphold quality standards in service, hospitality, and overall guest experience
- Support the recruitment process by participating in interviews and onboarding new team members
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, motivation, and professional development
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience in food service roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food production and hospitality standards
- Previous experience of 2 years in hotel or culinary environments is desirable
- Good communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour
- Ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere
