Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar & Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and working efficiently during busy periods. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All staff members will be paid for their work and play a vital part in creating a positive environment for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly to guests
- Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age where applicable
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and preparing the venue for service
- Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak hours
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the venue
