Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices / Raise internal invoices in ERP system
Liaise and collaborate with other teams for a seamless process of requisition to payment workflow
Maintain different excel datasets to support the team
Adhere to established monthly deadlines
Assist with month-end closing using the ERP system
Administratively assist in activities of the commercial controls & finance team
Support the Commercial Controls & Finance Department with trackers, and reports as requested
Assists in internal and external financial audits and ensure proper close-out of observations, non-compliance, etc.
Liaise and closely coordinate with the corporate (BRVZ) External Finance and Internal Accounting Teams
Skills
Ability to work proactively and independently within a team environment
Ability to use excel – basic formulas, lookups and pivots
Ability to effectively collaborate with external departments – commercial project teams, procurement, IT, office admin
Adaptable to change
Ambitious to develop as a finance professional, continue studying and focus on commercial aspects of finance
An understanding of the importance and principles of data protection
A thorough and Clear understanding of intercompany re-charges and reconciliations
Good attention to detail
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
