Themoving Healthcare Solutions is a healthcare recruitment agency urgently recruiting experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to cover shifts in a Residential Care Home in Gillingham/Shaftesbury area of Dorset.
Available Shifts
- Early Shift: 7:30am–2:30pm
- Late Shift: 2:30pm–9:30pm
- Night Shift: 9:30pm–7:30am
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal care, dressing and continence needs.
- Assist residents with mobility, meals and daily activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Complete accurate daily care records.
- Report concerns or changes in residents’ health to the senior staff member.
- Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, safety and independence.
- Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker.
- Experience within a residential or nursing care setting is preferred.
- Up-to-date mandatory care training, including Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
- Valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Satisfactory employment references.
- Reliable transport or the ability to travel reliably to the care home.
This is an urgent agency requirement with regular and ongoing shifts potentially available to dependable candidates.
You can also refer any NURSE OR HCA that you believe would be great fit for this role. will Offer a referral bonus of £200 upon completion of a minimum of 20 shifts.
