Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that promote development across all areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
- Support the professional development of nursery staff through coaching, mentorship, and management responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share children’s progress and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and health information in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure the nursery adheres to all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices through regular team meetings and feedback sessions
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent in early childhood education or childcare
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety regulations, and early childhood development principles
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring travel between nursery sites or community engagement activities
