As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an organised and proactive HR Manager to support our people operations, recruitment activities, and HR compliance requirements.
Role Overview
The HR Manager will be responsible for supporting the company’s HR administration, recruitment processes, employee records management, and general HR compliance.
This is a flexible part-time position suitable for an experienced HR professional seeking a role within a growing small business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administration and employee records
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal HR procedures
- Monitor employee right-to-work documentation where required
- Support payroll administration and employee information updates
- Coordinate staff contracts and employment-related correspondence
- Assist management with HR policies and workplace procedures
- Liaise with external advisors when required
Requirements
- Previous HR administration or HR management experience
- Good understanding of UK employment practices
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business systems
Desirable
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
- Experience working with small businesses or SMEs
- Experience maintaining employee records and compliance documentation
