We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and excellence in presentation and taste
- Manage food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control to minimise waste
- Train and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and teamwork
- Assist in menu planning, development, and innovation to enhance customer satisfaction
- Ensure all food served meets the organisation’s quality standards and customer expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff
- Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and serving guests is highly desirable
- Previous hospitality or culinary training is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
