About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a General Duties Operative to join the team at Skoda Burntwood. This is a varied and hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy dealership environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all areas of the site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including vehicle movement, valeting, and supporting the day-to-day running of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities

Driving and moving vehicles safely around the dealership and between locations when required.

Preparing vehicles for customer handover and display.

Taking photos of new and used cars ready for advertising.

Washing, cleaning, and valeting vehicles to a high standard.

Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom, forecourt, and site.

Carrying out general site duties and supporting various departments as needed.

Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues.

Assisting with deliveries, collections, and vehicle logistics.

Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence (essential).

Confident and competent driver with excellent vehicle handling skills.

Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Previous valeting or automotive experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
