We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly homecare team in Orpington.
This role is ideal for someone looking for evening and weekend work, whether you are an experienced carer or looking to develop your career in the care sector.
You will support our clients to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes, providing high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred care and support in clients' own homes
- Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required
- Assisting with medication in line with care plans and training
- Supporting with meal preparation and light domestic tasks where required
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting clients with mobility and daily activities
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
- Respecting clients' dignity, privacy, independence and choices
- Reporting any concerns or changes in a client's condition to the appropriate person
