Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including basic cooking and serving duties.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary.
- Participate in cleaning schedules to maintain hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service to guests.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
