SureCare Central London is recruiting compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Children's Support Workers to provide high-quality support to children and young people with complex needs in Walthamstow and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people who require specialist support due to mental health needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties, challenging behaviours, and complex healthcare conditions.
You will work within home, community, hospital, hospice, and healthcare environments, supporting children to achieve positive outcomes while promoting their safety, well-being, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Support children and young people with challenging behaviour and mental health needs.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
- Promote emotional well-being, confidence, and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Maintain accurate daily records and reports.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
- Work flexibly across a variety of care settings.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience working with children or young people.
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and/or mental health needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Right to work in the UK.
